Burgermeister? Livery? Bavarian? Help?
Hey guys. A few weeks ago, i picked this up in a grouping of mostly German Militaria. It was quite an attractive piece, and i did buy this group mostly for this piece. However, i am unable to settle in on its significance or what it may be. The beads are fine silver and are quite heavy. The detail is phenomenal. The enamel work is also as good as i have seen. Any ideas or a direction to search further would be most appreciated. Thank you so much!
