Default haube help please

hi lads, just restored this helmet, but haven't a clue what it is, all i can tell you is that all the fittings are steel, and the plate holes are 4" apart, could you possibly identify this helmet for me? and tell me what helmet plate i need?
thanks for your help much appreciated.

Looks like a standard enlisted-man's M15 to me. I don't know right offhand how far the holes are for the Prussian examples, but that would probably be the best bet. Any markings in the rear skirt?

Mauser is absolutely right - M 15 with removed spike ... now only any inside markings can tell us where it belonged .
IMO there are even more interesting (by the way being more available and cheaper ) then M 1895 with their brass shiny elements . They look more combat , really field head gear and each one is always a bit different - more or less paint which is never exactly the same - , different oxidation ( maybe wrong word - my poor English ) etc. I do have 3 or maybe even four of Prussian ones plus one Bavarian and ... all I would say is - I would like to have some more .
regards
Kornel
