Fascist Militia Medical Officers Summer cap

Hi, I would appreciate comments from Italian collectors about this cap (only images I have at present). A New Zealand WW2 vet bring back. Would this unit have served in North Africa?

Cap is in good condition with lining intact except for a small leather rim which is missing. Measures 280mm x 135mm.

Hello Mike,

this cap (Bustina) is for Medical Corps of MVSN (blackshirts)
normally in North Africa the cap are in cotton kaki; but is
possible the use of grey green uniforms.
