AS S-Boat question

Has anyone ever encountered an Adolf Scholze second pattern S-Boat badge with a silver backing? Not black that is worn off down to the bare zinc but what looks like silver colored plate. It is not tarnished like pure silver and does not come of with acetone.

I've had many in my hand, but none of them had a silver backing.

Still I would not exclude it either, as their silver army combat awards are often seen with the kind of backing finish you discribe...

I have not seen one either but AS in triangle Minesweepers feature silver finish of the reverse.
