yes...Crazy prices! It is a nice, rare, early B-Uhr by IWC though. I think I paid $900 for mine

A bit expensive IMO considering that the wristband is uncomplete.

As far as I know, he do not have to pay the fee when the buyer do not pay and the whole transaction failed.

I can think of 44,000 other things I would buy for that same amount of money.

Thanks for grabbing the shot. I couldn't find where it fell through. Not surprised. That's way more than most Rolexs. That's just dumb.

You can't compare Laco and IWC (would be like comparing a Triumph with a Bentley) but this Laco with the rare original box was a good price

Pierre,

It would be better if you posted the actual photos of the watch. The link becomes irrelevant as soon as the auction and photos go away. Actual photos ensures that the thread is still relevant way into the future. Just a suggestion. The photos have already been taken down.

Hi guys. An IWC B-uhr is extremely rare, I thought about 500 pieces were produced during WW2. Other B-uhrs like Laco and Wempe were produced in large numbers, and therefore are not rare and available from about € 1.500,= for a bad quality example. Besides IWC has a great name as watch producer. However I agree that € 40.000,= is a lot of money, even for a rare IWC B-uhr watch.
