Default Italian medal reserch help please.
Hello everyone, i have recently bought an Italian Volunteers of Freedom medal with "VL" device. It came with an document awarded to a Giovanni Cascone on April 25th 1984. the document is signed by Sandro Pertini, the 7th president of the Italian Republic. How do i begin my research on this man?

Technically you have made your post to the correct forum as this document is dated outside of the time frame covered by the Italian and European Axis Allies Forum. However, I would suggest you take Raffaello's advice and post your question, with pictures, on the Italian Forum. Good luck in your search.
