Talking Skulls and Freikorps!
I like skulls!

And a lot of different Freikorps used skull insignia and badges.

Look, how many kinds of skulls were used by Freikorps on uniforms in those days after ww1.

Typical skulls on a lot of Freikorps caps were the Prussian jawless skull and the private purchased Brunswick skull.

PS: Sometimes you could also find some other rarer skull variants on Freikorps caps.

Can you tell us from which Landesverband / region this member came from?

PS: Is it only a wrong impression, or had the guy two different skulls on his collar tabs? Notice the eyes! The skull on the right collar tab looks like this one.

What do you think,...is this a Freikorps or later Panzer skull? Although it looks like panzer, and is the same size, it is dished (see third pic.) and made from nickle silver.
