It is known that lots of M62 helmets were modernized with a new strap system with the second strap in the back. The can be identified by the two rivets on the side as the mounting point moved forward two cm. But what ist this ?
It has clearly the last type of liner...but lots of rivets as it wasn`t a M62 before, no, it was a M60 type once ... all the holes for the rivetswhich held the liner once were closed and a central rivet was added which helds the central screw for the liner ... as last it was painted using lots of swadust to give it a rough image ...
It was a clear must have ....
