Default Odd Piece of Porcelian

Hi:

I recently attended a flea market and found this covered up on a table. Small serving platter made by Rosenthal 1939 with Heer Eagle....with Knight's Cross with Swords & Oakleaves on the front in black. 23 cm across by approx. 15 cm wide

It looks period....but I could be wrong. I've never seen anything like this.

I do own approx. 50 pcs of porcelain (RAD, Heer, KM, Luft, Red Cross, etc....)

I've seen imitation/post war porcelain but this does appear to be that. In addition, it doesn't look like a decal or applied image "after" the fact. I did notice that "1939" isn't on the front of the cross but does have the swastika. This maybe nothing but...

I would appreciate comments.
