I don't believe these to be Soviet caps. Uniforms are also not Soviet. Don't know what it is though. Perhaps from some of the eastern European axis?

It is an original star made by Moskow "Platinapribor" Factory (MZPP). All looks good. Awarded to a Lieutenant Colonel from an Artillery Regiment. He earned quite some awards! Very nice Red Star!

Both are good awards. With screwplates it is of no big deal. These were exchanged a lot by veterans. Remember the majority keeps wearing them till the present day. Nice awards thumbsup
