WWII British Royal Navy Ensign

Recently picked this up, and based on other examples on the forum, I believe it to be a WWII ensign, but probably not used on a ship since it has grommets instead of a rope.

Be careful, the naval uniforms did not change much after the war, so there are many many Bundesmarine pieces out there made to look like Kriegsmarine.

Unfortunately I learned that the hard way.
