Neat! I'll have no problem stripping off the black paint and reblueing the side plate then; it should improve the appearance greatly. Wooden grips will probably be in the works too.

Rick was a gentleman and a scholar. I only had an opportunity to collaborate with him on a couple occasions, but he was a class act and absolutely brilliant at Imperial research. He will be missed.
