The stamped "52" is interesting. Is it for the size, as it's stamped in kanji next to it. Or could it be a manufacturer code ?

The case is for Japanese 7x50' naval binoculars. Case marking is ok. The binoculars may be ok but beretta 1934 is right markings need to be checked because they still produced them postwar.
