berets in link look typical blue and not grey to me? Definitely not NVA Fallli berets. UNTAG was issued with berets from the UN central depot in Brindisi/Italy, which is common for UN missions....

on both the BW and GSG9 helmets, the rim is crimped over the edge and so visible also on outside (sorry to call this rolled earlier, i could not think of the English term).

ok must be later model from changes in late 60s and 70s, so it make sense, that it would follow Polizei types. I focus on 50s-early 60s and this type was not in use during that time.
