Any information on who the maker was...?

Is there any information out there on where these believed-to-be-copies were made? And by whom? As far as I understand it, there are basically two types of well-made copies "commonly" floating...

No real worries...

... unless you can see some clear evidence of a crack in the die to the front of the badge.

As previously posted, there are for sure quite a few unissued but yet genuine, pre-May 1945 made Gaunt...

Both repros...

Cheers,
Mikael

Not really my area...

... of expertise, but I saw one sold at an auction here in Sweden last year for about $700 (without the hanger, though). I suppose that prices in Sweden for these rare daggers are still lower than in...

... or at least purporting to be; a cap eagle for the Rikshird/the Norwegian natioinalist party "Nasjonal Samling". But, as far as I know, the authentic badge had red paint (or enamel) in it as...

Not a pilot badge...

Hi Sergey,

This is a good looking and very likely a genuine badge, but unfortunately not at all related to the Romanian Air Force...

The "PP"-badge is a badge from a paramilitary youth...

Some answers...

... and a qualified guess! :)

Red enamel badge: Danish Air Force NCO cap badge post-WW2 (probably model 1952)

Anchor badge: Swedish Navy NCO cap badge (of early 1900s design but still in use;...

Indeed correct

Yes, indeed - this is an early m/37 helmet, typical WWII-issue. Decals were widely used at that time (much more than post-WWII). These helmets were refitted with new interiors a couple of times, the...

Sorry...

... Mark; I was not at all questioning its originality! I have most likely mixed it up, but as I have learnt it, the Juncker and the Knaus types compare to each other as noted in the attached picture...

Thumbs up Hmmm...

Indeed a nice wing!! But, I would rather say that this is a Knaus Brothers-made wing - or at least according to what I have learnt over the years...? There are subtle differences, but my guess is...

Mexican, yes..

... most likely, but Air Force - not likely?

There are pilot/air crew badges using this design of the Mexican Air Force (FAM), but they are in most cases made of white metal, and are either found...

German-made Axis badges etc.

Just to comment on the Romanian pilot badge; my opinion is that it is indeed a Romanian-made pilot badge, although with a different pin setup than the more commonly seen variants. The badge is an...

I am sorry for listing a bad Narvik for sale; I wasn't updated on these fakes. The Narvik has been in my collection for years, and as I have been more or less away from TR collecting, I was not aware...

Ok, let's see what I could do to help...

The top one is the branch of service wing for the Nationalist air force, used until 1946 (I believe). Hence, it is not a qualification badge per se, even...

This is a regular issue Swedish Army sidecap m/60, and "Svea" is indeed the manufacturer. It is missing the cap badges, though.

Besides the seemingly mixed colours effect (should it have been a p/o...
