From memory, I believe this mag came from a "Kü" marked 1941 byf and the number matched the serial number of the pistol. The "+" signified that it was the spare mag.

Yes, the crate is for 9mm ammo but as this label says, it is for limited use in P08s (lugers) because of extraction problems. Steel case ammo is a problem in P08s due to the design of the chamber.

The SSZZA4 & serial number on the barrel look okay for an SS rifle but there is no guarantee that the barrel was originally installed into this receiver.

The finish issues look as though they were from storing the pistol in the holster for a long time in less than perfect conditions.
