No, no, it's not a fake. You can sleep safely thumbsup Lettering is a bit funny but that's pretty normal for these early badges. Type of pin plate is also not very often encountered but good.

I took a quick look. Torlon seems to be a very modern made plastic (polyamide) and it in my opinion not a product from the early 20th century. It 's correct that the term "Trolon"...
