I don't see any evidence of a reproduction. Other than the breaks and snags along the edges it looks to be an original first pattern cuff title.

Based on the clear wear around the edge and raised surfaces it might actually be for embossing? Can't imagine anything else. Certainly unusual IMO.

Not that it affected the outcome of the war, but I read the size (length) as 28 1/2 and the width as 5 marked on the ankle, however the sole is marked as width 6. Haven't seen that discrepancy...

The maker is in Vienna (Wien) but I could not tell you exactly what type of visor hat this is. It is not a WW 2 era hat, strictly post-war.

Looks medical IMO as the TSD color was introduced way after this style cap was officially replaced. Yes, this style was worn till the end of the war.
