The cap shown in this thread is not the same pattern than the one of the front cover of the magazine.
It differs in many points, wich is obvious having the magazine in hands and comparing details....

Yes, 4 pockets HBT tunic were seldomly seen in Normandy during summer 1944 as it has already been pointed above....

This book shows a large variety of uniforms, headgear and insignias worn by Nebeltruppen between 1934 and 1945.

This hypothesis came in my mind too, but there was no Panzerwerfer Batterie in Gebirgs-Werfer-Abteilung 10, so logicaly no reason to find crew members wearing feldgrau wrapper in this unit....
