Is that color what some would call "Battleship Grey"? I have seen a few painted that shade of grey but they were not textured as I recall. They were always said to be KM for use on ships.

I cannot say that the German military never produced those but I have only seen pullover sweaters without buttons and they had green stripes. The German Bundeswehr did have sweaters similar to that.

There are some strong similarities to Swedish...

There are some strong similarities to Swedish military wool and lining material from the early 40s but nothing that I saw could say for certain that they were Swedish.
