The single loop attaching the false front though...

The single loop attaching the false front though unusual can be found on some factory LAGO caps. Need to see the grommets, and interior to be sure. So far so good.

Not quite sure is the upper left eagle's pebbling inverted ? Little hard to tell from the photos. The other three are all nice original eagle shields.

Looks like the paint is on the tresse too, some around the edge and also on the piping at the right where the pip is located....

Yes of course these are captured Dutch/SA helmets used by the Germans. It is implied that this practice was not done but the evidence is there. These were worn during the war not post war like so...

The Germans did use Allied helmets during the war...

The Germans did use Allied helmets during the war as early as 1941 before Russia. Thousands were worn by the 15th Pz Div DAK. Easily confused with the SA helmets which look very similar....
