Best version of all M44 dots this smooth cotton...Erbsen tarn printed on "beute" Italian OLONA (or OLONETTA) silky cotton if I'm not mistaken.

I don't like the quality of the braid and it's texture and the way it sits in the pink underlay with pink gaps showing along the edges. Also the black backing looks very fuzzy....I would steer away...

Yeah but on a good note it is easily restorable back to KM. Heer personnel could have obtained and wore KM pattern tunics in the tropics but usually observed as an officers thing based on period...

Well 5 years later and I found a second "Maydanek" camp made Waffen SS winter rabbit fur cap...
Again offered as inexpensive Army and came with an aluminum Heer wreath/cockade devise added...
now...
