The tunics do seem surprisingly crisp, though I don't imagine the Heeres Bekleidungsamt was supplying prisoners with replacement uniforms through the International Red Cross.

I do not recall ever seeing a genuine tropical overseas cap with a machine-sewn eagle. This eagle and the material it is embroidered on look highly suspect to me.

I have a pair of Feldwebel straps with Stalingrad crosses in which I have always had confidence. As I recall they came from a distinguished collection from out on the island.
