That's a good one. The oak-leaf with a 9 inside is the maker's logo. I've got that same one on a P08 Luger holster...but I can't remember the maker's name, sorry.

I don't know what the market price might be but for me, as a collector, nothing. It has been transformed and modified too much. If you are a hunter it might be worth something.

It is an original Kar 98k. Seems Norwegian modified and reissued. Those were first changed to 30.06 and later to 7,62 x 51 NATO, if not mistaken.

From what I have found out, it is an auxiliary tool box to set up field hospitals. It would contain regular tools. I can imagine the nail and rivet boxes are not original to that box.

This model is not standard for the Wehrmacht IMO. I would say paramilitar use. Doesn't seem to be dated nor have a maker's code as expected on Wehrmacht items.
