Reichsbahn Feuerwehr Armband

2 Attachment(s)
Hello to all,

I was thrilled to find this Reichsbahn Feuerwehr armband at this year's SOS. This is only the second one I have ever seen. (The first one I saw was in the late 70s.) I hope you like this rare armband.

Best regards,
Tom

Trying to show the BEVo weave in these photos. The armband has quite a sheen to it and I find it difficult to get good photos. The color of the band is actually more reddish-orange than the pictures show. It looks pink in these photos.

Best regards,
Tom

Very, very nice. I've never seen one before.

I would of thought that the RB would have worn an eagle as below? is this armband an early one before the eagle? or was it a civilian armband?

Very nice! There is also a leader version of it with very light gray stripes on the top and bottom. They are both separate pieces and not BeVo like most SA reserve armbands. Both sold in a group on ebay together for $200 before I was collecting armbands. Didn't even save the photos:banghead: I would assume the leader is much rarer as I have seen 3 of these to 1 of those as of now....

Thanks for the information, Kyle.thumbsup I never knew of a leader version of this armband with gray tress top and bottom. That one must be super-rare.

Best regards,
Tom

Hello,

Nice sleeve eagle.thumbsup As far as the armband is concerned, I really don't know if it was used by regular members or by civilians in service of the Reichsbahn-Feuerwehr.

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Kyle et al.

I found a Reichsbahn Feuerwehr leader armband at the OVMS Wilmington Show this weekend. Before Kyle's post, I never knew this type existed. I never expected to find one of these leader armbands so I was thrilled to get this one. There is a faint eagle ink stamp on this one but it is impossible to make out what it says.

Best regards,
Tom
