Default fork/spoon - is eagle marking good?

Hello,

I just wanted an opinion on the eagle stamp. Is it good? I've seen few marked this way. I'll include 4 photos.

Thanks,
Frank

Is the eagle stamp raised, or stamped into the meatal, or both? I think it could be real. I have a couple marked like this, made by ESM. Here are the markings on both of them.

Default Fork Spoon

No, I am sure it is authentic period stuff. I will see if I can find my examples. But I am positive these pieces are good. Jack

Thanks to all for your replies! Thanks for the photos Chris. My eagle is raised like your 2 examples. I appreciate being able to confirm these as orginal.

Regards,
Frank

Digging out an old thread, if you don't mind. First of all, thanks Chris for the pictures of the markings on your sets : the one on the left in particular, is quite clear and neatly done. Those markings are indeed raised on this kind of sporks :

Here's the set I own, as expected by the same maker, ESM. This one is marked "ESM 42" though. I too believe these are original, most probably private purchase (PX) items.
