A jear book on the Luftwaffe. This was an experiment that didn't prove to be of much use. Sometimes year books can be really helpful. Not the case this time around. At least for me.

A book in English on German aviation. Not a lot of use to most of us.

I would like to add some of my books and booklets here as well. To avoid double posts I will skip those, that are already posted. If you have any questions about a particular piece, please feel free to ask. Let's start with some booklets from the late 1950's early 1960's - a wonderfull source.

Lars,
Welcome to the forum. Some interesting books you have posted. Once you become a member perhaps you would be kind enough to repost them so we don't lose them once the host deletes them.
Regards,
Gordon

Recent additions to my library of reference material
Some new books, to me, added to my library lately. I am still looking for a rank chart for the laufbahnabzeichen on the Berlin Polizei guy.

Gordon, does the Berlin Book in Post 42 have a Date? I had a discussion lately where somebody said Bonn was the Hauptstadt so Capital City and I said it was allway's Berlin and Bonn was the Regierungssitz, so the location of the Government. This would be a nice proof. For the Patches you mentioned, I have to ask my friend, or if you come to Berlin, ask him in person when we go to see his collection.

Nico,
The book in post 42 is dated 1960. It was produced for the GROSSE POLIZEISHAU BERLIN which took place on 28 August 1960. The book raises many questions such as the uniform in wear on the cover. The hat badge is one I have seen anywhere else. This is supposed to picture the "new" uniform for the Berlin Ploizei. Perhaps the rank badges never existed either.
Your point about Berlin being the capital city and Bonn being the seat of government is an interesting one. The cover of this book seems to indicate that West Berlin was the capitol of West Germany but we both know that Berlin was not part of West Germany. It was administered separately. I am sure the West German government would have refer to West Berlin as the capitol but it could not officially be that.
Regards,
Gordon
