Default VOOS Trademark

Has anyone ever seen this type of Voos Trademark before? It is on an engraved 2nd. Luft

Never seen this type of trademark on a Voos engraved blade but from what I can see, the engraved etching seems pretty horrible, a better look of the whole blade would certainly help.

I had this mark on a fireman's bayonet minus the ges geschutzt. How does the rest of the blade etch look?

There is a haze around the TM which is a bit odd, I am sure you are asking because you have serious question behind this piece. Bob

In agreement with Bob, I'm not sure how or why this would be on a TR era blade. FP

The haze is from Simichrome old polishing. It is a plated blade just as they should be and when my photo girl has more time I will have her shoot the whole blade. I have no doubt about the blade being period, just never seen this form of TM. I would be it to be early.

Agree that it would be an early mark. I have seen the GesGesch mark on some other blades and think these were all from early on in the TR rule.

I also would like to see better pictures of the etches, this picture show a rather sloppy, and not typical, etching.

Here the three marks that I have on 2nd Lufts, two on plain plated blades and one on an etched blade. Note how crisp the etching is.

Like I've said and you don't need to be an expert, the etching alone is so horrible that I would run away from it.
