Default BGS Labels & Sizes

Hello,

I have a BGS jacket and a BGS parka. I don't know how to decipher the labels and I don't understand how the BGS clothing sizing works.

For example, regarding the parka, what is a size 27 or 24? Can someone point to a chart somewhere on the web?

Thanks,
Mike

BGS used standard European sizes, so any size chart with international sizing systems will show it. Size 52 is a regular size and 27 is a short 54. The other numbers is the contract number and last 2 numbers indicate contract year. In this case 1971 and 1972.

maybe to add, that a long 54 would be a 106.
So from the Regular sizes: Half is short, double is long, mostly as there is no 108 but don't ask me why a long 54 isn't a 108.
I have a very good chart from a Company I work with together but maybe not allowed to post it here.
Try this one online:
