Default Helmet Chin Strap for Review

Hi Everyone -

I picked this chin strap up a couple years ago for a M-40 helmet of mine. I have been trying to sell the helmet but a few folks shared that they think the chin strap is a repo. I removed the chin strap and took several pictures of it. Please let me know your thoughts on the chin strap in question.

Thank you in advance for your help!
